Capitol Distributing
During my time as a Senior Designer at BrandCraft Marketing, I led the design for Capitol Distributing to create a website that better reflects the scale and complexity of their brand portfolio, something their previous digital presence did not fully communicate.
The experience was intentionally crafted to feel polished and dynamic, using subtle animations and micro-interactions to bring the site to life without overpowering the content or the people behind the brand. Many pages lean into darker backgrounds, a more polarizing choice, used intentionally to amplify the brand’s color palette, create stronger visual contrast, and allow key calls to action to stand out more prominently, not to mention help set their brand apart from competitors.
The design focused on establishing a strong visual hierarchy, improving content structure, and creating a more refined, brand-forward experience. Emphasis was placed on showcasing their portfolio in a way that feels both organized and engaging, while maintaining a professional tone aligned with the industry.
A clean, flexible design system was implemented to support ongoing updates as their brand partnerships and offerings continue to evolve.
The result is a cohesive, elevated website that positions Capitol Distributing as a credible, modern partner—so much so that the client accelerated the launch timeline after seeing the final direction.
